【摘要】:Someprocesscatalystsusedinpetroleumandchemicalrefiningmaybepoisonedwheneventraceamountsofnitrogenousmaterialsarecontainedinthefeedstocks.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodetermineboundnitrogeninprocessfeedsandmayalsobeusedtocontrolnitrogencompoundsinfinishedproducts.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetracetotalnitrogennaturallyfoundinliquidhydrocarbonsboilingintherangefromapproximately50to400x00B0;C,withviscositiesbetweenapproximately0.2and10cSt(mm2/s)atroomtemperature.Thistestmethodisapplicabletonaphthas,distillates,andoilscontaining0.3to100mg/kgtotalnitrogen.Forliquidhydrocarbonscontainingmorethan100mg/kgtotalnitrogen,TestMethodD5762canbemoreappropriate.Thistestmethodhasbeensuccessfullyapplied,duringinterlaboratorystudies,tosampletypesoutsidetherangeofthescopebydilutionofthesampleinanappropriatesolventtobringthetotalnitrogenconcentrationandviscositytowithintherangecoveredbythetestmethod.However,itistheresponsibilityoftheanalysttoverifythesolubilityofthesampleinthesolventandthatdirectintroductionofthedilutedsamplebysyringeintothefurnacedoesnotcauselowresultsduetopyrolysisofthesampleorsolventinthesyringeneedle.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.See6.2,6.4,6.5,6.9,andSection7.
