【摘要】:Thevolatilematterofpetroleumcokeaffectsthedensityofcokeparticlesandcanaffectartifactsproducedfromfurtherprocessingofthecoke.Thevolatilemattercanbeusedinestimatingthecalorificvalueofcoke.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthevolatilematterproducedbypyrolysisorevolvedwhenpetroleumcokeissubjectedtothespecificconditionsofthetestmethod.1.2Theinterlaboratorystudyforprecisioncoveredmaterialswithavolatilematterconcentrationrangingfromabout8to16%.1.3Sampleshavingathermalhistoryabove600176Careexcluded.1.4Thistestmethodisempiricalandrequirestheentiretestproceduretobecloselyfollowedtoensurethatresultsfromdifferentlaboratorieswillbecomparable.1.5Thistestmethodisnotsatisfactoryfordeterminingdedustingmaterialcontent.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
