【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesanalysisandevaluationproceduresfordeterminingself-ignitiontemperatures(Tsl)ofcombustibledustsorgranularmaterialsasafunctionofvolumebyhotstorageexperimentsinovensofconstanttemperature.ThespecifiedtestmethodisapplicabletoanysolidmaterialforwhichthelinearcorrelationofIg(V/A)versusthereciprocalself-ignitiontemperature1/Ts?(withTslinK)holds(i.e.notlimitedtoonlyoxidativelyunstablematerials).ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletotheignitionofdustlayersorbulksolidsunderaeratedconditions(e.g.asinfluidbeddryer).ThisEuropeanStandardshouldnotbeappliedtodustslikerecognisedexplosivesthatdonotrequireatmosphericoxygenforcombustion,nortopyrophoricmaterials.NOTEBecauseofregulatoryandsafetyreasons"recognisedexplosives"arenotinthescopeofthisEuropeanStandard.Inspiteofthat,substanceswhichundergothermaldecompositionreactionsandwhicharenot"recognisedexplosives"butbehaveverysimilarlytoself-ignitionprocesseswhentheydecomposeareinthescope.Ifthereareanydoubtsastowhetherthedustisanexplosiveornot,expertsshouldbeconsulted.
